Hamerkop House by Lemala.
It’s a private 3 bed roomed house situated on a private wildlife estate, Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate, located half way between Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha. Fully staffed with an excellent Chef, offering all meals and a range of drinks.
An ideal way to unwind and relax, either before or after your safari. All rooms are en-suite with a private lounge and library, and indoor/outdoor bathroom facilities. The house offers a range of amenities, along with a pool and manicured gardens.
It is perfect for couples, families or small groups traveling together. Each bedroom is en suite with a private verandah and lounge. The house can be taken on a private exclusive use basis or shared and can be booked on a full board or all-inclusive basis.

Mpingo Ridge Lodge.
It sits on top of an escarpment with sweeping views across the perennial Tarangire River and valley below, and will match the same outstanding standards of comfort and service as the other properties in Lemala’s collection.
The lodge has 15 suites, of which one is a two-bedroom family suite. Half sit on the eastern side of the ridge, with views of the sunrise, and the other half face west towards the sunset.
The suites feel very solid, and are markedly different from a traditional safari tent. Contemporary design, with neutral tones, blends with traditional fabrics, beaded wall hangings, woven rugs and wicker light shades, to create an elegant and stylish feel that retains a sense of connection to the natural surroundings.
The suites are very spacious with the central super-king-size or twin beds draped in billowing cream fabric, tied back to the four posts during the day. There’s a useful dressing area behind the bed and a lounge furnished with an armchair and cozy sofa.
Amenities include a fan, minibar, and tea and coffee facilities. The equally large en-suite bathroom, with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries provided, comes with twin rough – hewn stone basins, a rain shower and a free-standing bathtub with views over the park.
Ngorongoro Tented Camp.
An intimate camp set in a delightful ancient acacia forest on the rim of the crater, next to the quiet Lemala access route. The camp has 12 spacious canvas tents to ensure intimacy and minimal impact on the pristine forest environment.
The tents accommodate two queen beds with winter weight duvets and hot water bottles. The tents are warmed in the evenings by a gas heater, ensuring a cozy night’s sleep. The roomy en-suite bathrooms contain a dressing area, flush toilet and a large safari shower.
Guests can gather around a blazing campfire to enjoy their favorite sun downer and swap stories of the day’s adventures before making their way to a lavish chandelier-lit dinner. Spacious tents boast comfortable beds, gas heaters for the cool evenings, 24-hour solar lighting and lovely en-suite bathrooms with a dressing area and al fresco showers.
Ewanjan Tented Camp.
Ewanjan tented camp is a deluxe seasonal camp in the Central Serengeti, with seven beautiful tents set in the game-rich Seronera Valley in the Central Serengeti. This wonderful tented camp offers spectacular views and is easily accessible to the area’s other major game-viewing spots. Lemala Ewanjan is a great option for families or groups of friends traveling together as well as couples and individuals hoping for exciting safari experiences in the area.
The mess tent functions as guest area, dining room and central bar. Leisurely sun downers end of each exciting day as guests soak up the Serengeti ambiance as they gather around the campfire. Guests can also enjoy the unique bush breakfast experience and marvel at the fantastic year-round game viewing.
A double tent is the standard option, with twins and triples available and very spacious. you’ll find bedside tables and lighting, a writing desk and chair, a dressing table, a separate seating area with tea-and-coffee station added to comfy beds. The area just in front of each tent is perfect for relaxing and enjoying your views!
Nanyukie Lodge.
It is a canvas wall set up, cathedral-like tented ceilings and broad hardwood decks. The 15 luxurious guest tents features include an oversized bed, spacious lounge, and generous bathroom with double vanity, shower and free-standing bathtub. The delightful wooden deck has sunken seating, outdoor shower and stunning corner plunge pool with views directly into the Serengeti.
Each one has sliding glass doors that open onto a veranda with its own plunge pool – I love seeing guests’ reactions when they arrive, they’re just blown away by the design. The two communal areas include a restaurant, lounge and bar with a deck for our infinity pool. It’s a stunning, open area with a fire pit to gather around for evening drinks.
Mara & Ndutu Tented Camp.
Are the ultimate mobile camps that move between Ndutu (December – March) to northern Serengeti from July through to October. In both locations it is within touching distance of the birthing areas of the Wildebeest in the South and in the North, it offers views over the Mara River. Set under large Euclea trees in the heart of the best game viewing area of the Serengeti.

It is nestled in a luxuriant rain forest on its own private island, mid-stream in the mighty Nile and is breathtakingly beautiful. The expansive, canvas walled, traditionally thatched rooms each boast private decks with elegant free-standing baths and wash basins carved from the local pink granite. Softly lit with hand-made furniture, you can relax in comfort on this island paradise listening to the thunder of the Nile rapids, and the calls of the many species of bird who call the island home.
